WARDROBE STYLING
The wardrobe is a key in a photo shoot, and it is important to make your best investment. I love customizing and styling every photo shoot and bringing all the details together to tell your story. I offer complimentary custom styling with every session. Clients have the option to pull from my collection of pieces that I have collected. I can also help select from your own wardrobe or go shopping online! Either way, I will work closely together in helping you feel confident and prepared with the best outfits for your shoot.
- Bring about 2-3 outfits to change into so there is a wide range of options in the finished photographs. Bring timeless, classic outfits as well as trendy.
- You can create an idea board to share with me and I can help you style for your shoot. You can view my boards here.
- If you are coming for a family portrait, wear similar tones; although they don’t need to be the exact same color will work best and are preferred.
- I recommend muted, earthy neutrals- think oatmeal, linen, taupe, beige, etc. contrast and compliment each other. Colors such as bright red, blue, fusia, blue, green etc will not reflect on your skin nicely, so I highly do not recommend those colors.
- I don’t recommend sport shoes, athletic shoes, or shoes/t-shirts with logos. For the beach, wear flat sandals.
